The mask provides you with partial protection against the infection. The efficiency also depends on whether you follow the recommended procedure and instructions for use, as well as whether you take other preventive hygiene measures.

The masks are disposable, after about 5 hours of wearing the effectiveness of the filtration begins to decrease, so the drape must be changed at least once a day.

The efficiency of the mask is about 90% (the manufacturer states up to 95%), so from 1000 particles, the mask filters at least 900 particles, it means it releases into 100 particles. Cotton blend has a filtration of about 70%, which is 700 of 1000 particles. Therefore, the mask is 3x more effective than the cotton blend (300: 100 particle leakage ratio). The linen will only filter up to 60% and the scarf and shirt with 100% cotton maximum 50%.
